IP International Journal of Periodontology and Implantology (IJPI) is a refereed, peer reviewed, indexed journal with academic and experts of repute as members of editorial board. IJPI publishes research and reviews on the development of therapeutic approaches which combine stem/progenitor cells with biomaterial and scaffolds and growth factors like PRF, APRF, iPRF, MPM, LPRF, CGF and other bioactive agents. It also deals with various growth factors, biochemical agents, bone grafts and membrane which influence the normal biology of healing or development of biological functional substitutes that regenerate repair or improve tissue or organ function employed in all sub- specialties of dentistry including Periodontology & Implantology. It addresses itself primarily to clinicians, general practitioners, periodontists, Implantologist as well as to teachers and administrators involved in prevention and treatment of periodontal diseases. The Journal publishes original contributions of high scientific merit in the field of regenerative & latest treatment modalities. IJPI particularly aims to foster the dissemination of scientific information by publishing manuscripts describing the use of advanced methods for the characterization of engineered tissues. Studies on surface modification technologies (root conditioning & root bio-modification), their effect on protein adsorption and on cell seeding adhesion and cell proliferation, both in vitro and in vivo are of major interest to the journal. It also accepts case reports which illustrate important new information & review articles by experts on new developments in basic and applied periodontal science, Implantology and other interdisciplinary cases involving periodontology and implantology.
